Angie experienced physical and sexual abuse from as early as she can remember. “No matter where I go trouble seems to follow me.” Angie felt like a magnet for abuse. Alone and facing life on the streets Angie went to a local shelter where she attended an Alive at Last small group.
In spite of Angie’s years of abuse, which led to drug addiction and prositution, she believed there was a God who loved her. When Angie attended an Alive at Last small group in February 2022, she began to hear more about this God who loved her and has a good plan for her life. Thanks to the message of hope Angie is beginning to look at her past and her future through a new lens. She is hoping to one day achieve her dream of becoming a teacher.
