Talia was trafficked in the Dallas area as a young adult. Her pimp kept her in a state of control by sleep deprivation and a twisted relationship where she felt valued and yet experienced daily abuse.
In February 2020 Talia has connected an Alive at Last mentor through the safe house where she lived. Although Talia had accepted Jesus, without a healthy family structure or a community to support her, she was vulnerable. Talia began to do the hard work toward her healing journey.
Through Alive at Last she not only found a healthy mentoring relationship,
In 2021 Talia felt strong enough to share her story with other survivors at Alive at Last events.
In June she began supporting Alive at Last monthly. When thanked for her monthly donation she said, “I am all for mentorship and I just know the huge impact it has made in my life. So Alive at Last is important to me!!! It is so important to give honor where honor is due.”
With your help we can increase the support we are offering to survivors we are reaching in safe houses and shelters. We can expand our online community connection to better serve the trafficked and exploited.
Please help us by giving to our Free to Thrive campaign so we can continue this life changing work.
Thank you so much for partnering with us in helping survivors live free and discover their God-given purpose.
