Nadine connected with Alive at Last needing layers of support. Years of abuse and trauma had resulted in emotional and mental instability. But Nadine was motivated and ready for change. Through the collaborative ministry of Alive at Last, Nadine has received Christian counseling and one to one mentorship.

She was one of the first survivors to join our safe online community and Empower U (on demand training) established in January of 2021. Any survivor can receive a free membership and access the many resources and the monthly support available in Empower U.

Nadine not only attends the monthly online events, if she misses a meeting she can view the recording on demand. When depression creeps in, or life is overwhelming, there are faith-based teachings that she can review to lift her spirit. She can also connect with over 100 people in the online Alive at Last community for encouragement and resources.

Like many survivors, Nadine lives from paycheck to paycheck. Due to recent inflation, Nadine was needing assistance in April. Alive at Last was able to connect her with a food bank near her that she was unaware of. Her mentor stepped in with assistance by emailing her a grocery gift card. Later that week she testified, “I not only had enough to make it through the week, I was able to share some fresh produce with my neighbor. I’m so thankful to the Lord and for Alive at Last!”

Thanks to generous donors, Nadine is one of many survivors being served in the Alive at Last online platform.

Pray that we continue to connect with survivors needing the healthy community offered by Alive at Last.
